Sciatica often presents as pain travelling down the leg, sometimes with associated numbness or tingling. 

While sciatica can be caused by irritation of a nerve in the lower back, its important to know that not all pain down the back of the leg is actually sciatica. Therefore, it important to choose an experienced practitioner who can correctly diagnose and treat you.
